I have a strange issue where only two pc is trying to reinstall office everytime I lauch office. They have no issue on these machine when I login as administrator. steps I tryed: 1. unistall office, renstalled office 2. setup /a 3. uninstall office, remove office from register, and install office setup /a . It onlty these pc but I like it fix, not sure why it does not happen when I long in as administrator to these boxes. If there any suggest please help. Aslo more info there both MS office 2000 Standard edition

You're installing the software from floppies?
When you install, are you doing a full install, or are you setting features to install upon first use? If you're not installing to the Local Computer, then you'll be prompted for the setup disk (CD/floppy) each time a newly accessed feature is required.

When you installed Office did you make it available to all users?
Sounds like the problem is related to the user profiles.

How do you install office to use all users? I thought this done it automatically for all user if not what are the steps?
