I have a spreadsheet that with approximately 65,000 lines. Of these 50% are repeats that I want to try and delete. Is there a way to keep one record of the repeated lines and delete the others? Without having to delete them manually? I've tried a subtotal but that did not work.

If the data is in just a single column then you can use the Advanced filter to accomplish this task.
Assuming data is in Column A,
Insert a new column in Column A.
Click on B1.
Hold down the Ctrl+Shift keys and then the Down arrow to select all the data in Column B.
Go to Data, Filter, Advanced Filter.
Select Copy to another location.
The range is already selected.
Copy to A1.
Select Unique records only.
Click OK.If there was data in adjacent columns pertaining to the data in Column B then insert the appropriate amount of columns between Columns A and B.
Then use a VLOOKUP to bring in the data.
When done delete all of the columns no longer needed.
