move part of a row over to a different column if...

Specs: Windows 7
I need to move part of a row over to a different set of columns depending on what year the first cell starts with. Therefore, I would have all of one year in one column as opposed to all years in one column.

I will then need to to collapse this data so like people have one row with multiple years instead of multiple rows.

I was hoping for a macro to do this since it appears I will be given this report quite a few times a year.

So you're not a programmer making a .NET application, but rather looking into sorting data in Excel?

You'll need to supply a before and after sample of your data so that we can see what we are working with. We don't need hundreds of rows/columns, just a representative sample.

Please click on the following line and read the instructions found via that link before posting your example data. Thanks!
