Missing subject input box

Specs: Windows 2000
For some reason the input box is missing from any new email I send which means I am sending emails with no subject which I don't like to do.

Incoming messages show the subject in column view but not when I open the email.

This has only started recently, last week I was able to enter a subject with no problem

Did you try View...Message Header?

Turning off the Message header will hide the Subject Line in all messages in your InBox.

However, turning it off in a e-mail you are composing usually only impacts that email. At least that's how it seems to work in 2003.

Maybe it's different in 2000. Give it a try and let us know.
