missing outlook.pst

Specs: Windows Vista/XP Home
I used to have Outlook Express running on Windows XP, and I had never backed it up. Of course, the motherboard burned out suddenly, and I'm left with the old hard drive. I got a new computer with Vista Home, attached the old HD as an external, and went looking for my files. After figuring out where outlook.pst should be (C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook), I realized that this folder is empty.

I have another computer almost identical to the one that died, never backed up my emails, and outlook.pst is where it should be. I've also searched for .pst files on the external, and there are apparently none. Where is this file? Thanks for any help you can provide!

Outlook Express doesn't use a pst file. It uses dbx files. They should be in your profile under C:\Documents and Settings
