Hi,

I'd like to minimize and maximize rows in
excel. Note: I don't want to hide them, but I'd
like to add the feature that comes up the left
portion of the excel file with the minus/plus
signs that minimize/maximize the rows.

Thanks!

Do you mean sub-totals & levels?

I've never heard of this refered to as "minimize and maxmize rows" but that's the only thing I know of that gives you plus and minus signs on the left side of a spreadsheet.
