Hello, I have a very strange problem. When the Local area connection on my computer is on, when I try to open a document from my computer, word is opening it for a minute (a very small document). WHen I disable the LAN from control panel, word begin to work normally.

Is the document located on a network share? How are you opening the document? Are you double-clicking it, or are you doing a File, Open in Word and then browsing to the file location?
