I have received a file from my customer which is in Microsoft Project 2000, is there any way by which i can view this file. I am not having a license of Microsoft Project 2002. Is there any website which provides me a viewer sort of thing by which i can view this file. Please let me know.

Wasim

I had the same problem, the most functional and usefull ms project viewer that i encountered is the Seavus Project Viewer (www.seavusprojectviewer.com). It will solve your problem since it reads mpp files from MS Project 98, MS Project 2000, MS Project 2002 and MS Project 2003.

I don't know if you managed to find an Microsoft Project Viewer already, but I can agree with kotev ... I'm using the Seavus Project Viewer for almost a month now and I'm really satisfied with its functionality. My project group says that they feel that it not only provides very similar presentation of the plans as Microsoft Project does, but it actually provides additional functionality not existing in the MS Project. My personal favorites are the extremely easy and powerfool zoom and the colored selection of the task in the Gantt Chart. The printing functionality is also a valuable asset to us, since some of the members work for several days outside the office and don't own laptops or similar, so the only way for them to follow the plan is to get printed copies of them.

Try http://www.housatonic.com/projectviewer/ . You can view (for Demo purposes) an mpp file for free. It is not a https (secure) page, so the cautious may not want to view sensitive data via it. Hope this helps.
