I am trying to import my contacts, inbox, etc from my old computer. ( win98se ) It has Microsoft Outlook 2000 on it so it is the same, as the new one. I can't seem to get the right file's. Is there files that I can copy and move over to the new computer. I have read microsoft page on how to import/ export. But it doesn't let me do it. Thanks for any help I get.

to get the right path, open outlook, have anew "zztest" named folder in "received mails" and copy a mail in it. Then open explorer and have a research on *zztest*. Do the same for contacts.

Don't know what Taxi is trying to say... On your old system, locate your pst file...that would contain all your Mail, Contacts, etc.. Copy that to a CD if you can..or other media and copy it to its own folder on your new machine.

Then, right click on your Outlook icon, data files, and select that file where it has Personal Folders listed.

Simple. :)
