I have been sent a word document that i have to edit and send back but there are lots of highlighted text which i need to take off, i know how to do this but it doesn't seem to be working, anyone any suggestions?

Are you trying to delete the text or just the highlighting? How are you going about doing this?

Im just trying to delete the highlighting from the text, im blacking out the text with the highlighting on and then on the drawing toolbar clicking no highlighting where you can change the colour of the highlight.

Check to see if the highlighting was done with "Borders and Shading". Could have the same effect as highlighting.
