I just installed Microsoft Office XP on my PC with Windows Vista, it works great, except when I am looking at a document in the Print Layout View (which I prefer to type in), there are these little grey 90 degree angles in all four corners of the document. The vertex of each angle is where the text will either begin (angles on the left) or end (angles on the right) in each line of text. I didn't have this problem when I was using Office on my PC with Windows XP so I am not sure if it is because I am using Windows Vista that I am now having problems. I would prefer to not have these angles if possible. I've been fiddling around with every setting possible but I haven't found the option to turn it off yet, if there is one.

I read that the only versions of Office that have proven to work perfectly with Vista are 2003 and 2007, and that older versions of Office might or might not have a few quirks due to Vista. This might or might not be your problem, though.
