I have an issue at my company where some users are having issue with certain
Outlook messages not marked as forwarded or replied to after the message has
actually been forwarded or replied to. We are using Outlook 2003 and the
issue has happened to machines running SP1 or SP2. Also, we applied all the
updates for Office but the issue still happens on certain machines. Is there
a fix for this issue?
Maybe I misunderstand what you're asking, but messages I forward and/or reply to are never marked as such, and I've been using Outlook for over eight years. Soylent Green is PEOPLE!!!
I don't know which version of Outlook you are using but it should mark the email item as forwarded or replied when you forward or reply to an email.
Okay. I think I get it. Maybe. Do you have the "Icon" field showing in the users' mailbox? That icon will show forwards and replies with either a right-facing arrow for forwards or left-facing arrow for replies. Is that what you mean? Soylent Green is PEOPLE!!!

I'm having the same problem. We are running Outlook 2003 on Windows XP sp2 with all the latest updates. We do,indeed, have the icon field showing in the users inbox. Thanks for your help,
