Does anyone know how to manually remove an office XP installation? I don't need to know how i put the cd in and click uninstall, or how to go into add/remove programs...

What i'm looking for is the folders/files to delete and the registry keys.

I've tried the other ways many many times including reinstalling then removing, repairing then removing, removing from cd, removing from add remove programs

Error Messages i'm getting are related to network resource being unavailable (makes no sense because this is a local install) and problems with msosvabw.dll.

any help at all is very much appreciated.

You would have to delete the Microsoft Office Folder and then delete any Reg keys referencing Office. There's no way to know what file may have been placed in the Windows Directory, so it'd be nearly impossible to delete everything associate with the Office install.

What exactly is the reason you need to uninstall?

Reinstall it using Total Uninstall. It has a 30 day fully functional trial.

Then use it to uninstall Office.

PCMag has a similar tool too.

InCtrl5 was the PCMag utility I was thinking about.

You can get it plus 2 more downloads for $5.97 US at PCMag's site.

It only records the installation including all the registry keys like Total Uninstall does.

In the past, I have used Windows Installer CleanUp Utility (free from Microsoft)
