I had a system failure on my computer and lost all my emails and addresses on Outlook Express. I want to know how to recover my lost data! Thanks

I did a *.pst search on the hard-drive, can't find any files. Anyone knows how to use Ontrack to recover lost emails? Thanks!

First and Foremost, you need to be more specific as to what kind of system failure this was and what you did to get back up and running. It may be a lost cause, or it may be easy as pie, depending on what happened and what you did.
OE saves e-mails as *.eml, (when you go to file, save as) but stores them for its own use in filefolder.dbx (inbox.dbx, sentitems.dbx, etc.) I don't know where xp pro stores them, but do a search. To restore them, find where your current (empty) dbx files are, and replace them with the old ones. Post back if you need more help doing it, it can be a little tricky.

Final Data Premium 2.0 costs $199 and is cheaper than Ontrack's Outlook Express Solution (EasyRecovery FileRepair $279) and www.officerecovery.com's (MailRecovery $299). It worked for me with a dbx outbox file with deleted messages contained within the file.
The suite that comes with the product also includes all sorts of other features including generic deleted file recovery and corrupt MS Office File Repair (this feature doesn't work as well as other competitor products but the price is good).
There is a also a freeware Outlook Express E-mail Recovery Program that comes in two versions - DBXtract and MBXtract that may work. The MBXtract is for older versions of Outlook Express (OE4). The site is here:
http://www.oehelp.com/DBXtract/Default.aspx.
The first rule of file recovery is try the demo products, so try the demos from all the products to make sure the product is satisfactory before purchasing.
