Lost icon in toolbar

Specs: Windows Vista, 1.862 GHz / 1022 MB
I deleted accidentally the icon <File> from the Toolbar on Office 2000 running Window Vista Premium. I tried to replace it through <Customize>, but there is no possibility there. I even reinstalled a new copy of Office (Successfully) from the disk, but all my pages are still without the icon <File>!!! That icon is very important! Most important!

You could try forcing Excel to re-register itself,
This will force Excel to rewrite all its registry keys.

Click Start
Click Run

Type in: Excel.exe /regserver

You may need the whole path, something like:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Excel.exe

Thanks for your answer. I tried it but nothing changed. Wouldn't be that I got to use office instead?

On the toolbar click Customize->Toolbars tab->MenuBar->Reset->OK.
Hope this will work. It did for me!
