I just removed my exchange account and didn't realize all of my e-mails in all of my folders would vanish. Adding the account back does not bring back the e-mails. Could the e-mails be archived somewhere?

I am not sure if this will work since the account has been deleted. but in anycase look for a .pst file. usually it's outlook.pst. u can usually find it in
C:\Documents and Settings\<<username>>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
if unable to find it there, might be helpful to do a search.

Description Restore files which are deleted from the recycle bin or deleted while holding down the Shift key by mistake. Conversely, this program has another function that makes it almost impossible to restore all deleted files. You can use it after deletion of confidential documents, embarrassing files and so on.
You don't have to install it, so it doesn't leave any garbage in the PC. (You can also run it from a floppy disk.)
I occasionally have recovered a file that I wiped out.
