I had my contacts and emails on my old computer that ran WinXP and officeXP. At one point the computer stop working. I took the HD from the old computer and plugged it into the new computer, that runs WinXP and Office2000. I have looked for the PST files on my old HD to get all my contacts and emails. Everytime I tried to import those files into my office2000 I got nothing. Am I looking in the wrong place? where could the contacts and emails be if not in the pst files?

To go backwards from 2003 to XP, you'll have to install pfbackup on both computers, do a backup of your old pst file on the other system (put it on CD), then restore that file from within your current Outlook setup.
