Currently I link the formulas from one sheet to the next. The first workbook (workbook 1) is a template, and so every month a new sheet is added and MTD totals are carried over. What I currently do is every month i link the totals from "july 2007" in "workbook 1" to a cell located in "workbook2" on "sheet 1" under the column entitled "july 2007", every month, workbook 2 is updated and a new month is added to "sheet1 in workbook2", Is there a macro or something i can do that everytime a new monthly column in "sheet 1 of workbook 2 " is created that the month to date totals from the next month( "august 2007" of workbook 1) are linked to the cell in workbook 2, even though they arent in the sheet or workbook yet?
