I've not really used Visio before but now need to create a diagram with shapes that can link to specific worksheets in an excel spreadsheet.
I can create a link to an excel file without any problem, but I want different shapes to open different worksheets within that one excel file.
Is this possible ?
I'm using Visio Pro 2003 if that makes any difference.

I don't believe that's possible from within Visio. In Excel, you could create a macro that will take you to the sheet you desire. You may be better off creating a new workbook for each sheet.

Thanks for the reply, it is possible I've just figured out.
In Visio you create the standard hyperlink, you then append the worksheet name and cell range to the end. You have to use the following format for it to work:
myexcel.xls#worksheet1!A1
This would open the Excel file called myexcel.xls on the worksheet named worksheet1, and the focus would be in the cell A1
