Joining IF formula into single cell

May 29, 2011 at 23:19:55
Specs: Windows XP
=IF(G2<$B$46,IF(AND(I2<$B$47),"Question Mark",IF(G2<$B$46,IF(AND(I2>$B$47),"Opportunity"))))

=IF(G2>$B$46,IF(AND(G2<$B$45),IF(AND(I2>$B$47),"Cash Machine",IF(G2>$B$46,IF(AND(G2<$B$45),IF(AND(I2<$B$47),"Maintenance"))))))

=IF(G2>$B$45,IF(AND(I2>$B$47),"Flagship",IF(G2>$B$45,IF(AND(I32<$B$47),"High Traffic"))))

I'd like to join the above formula into a single cell, right now I've in 3 cell

Your formulas don't make sense, even as stand alone formulas.

The AND function is used to check if 2 or more arguments are TRUE.

In all three of your formulas you have sections like this:

An IF(AND()) with only one argument for the AND is just an IF. The AND isn't doing anything.

Try rewriting your formulas to make them easier to follow (i.e. without the AND's) and we'll see what we can do to help.
