Issues With Opening Works Documents

Specs: Windows XP
I have Works 7.0 installed in my PC, I had no problems opening and working in it. Then I installed a new printer and when I went to print my documents from Works 7.0 I received an error message that there was a problem with Works 8. I upgraded from the Microsoft site, and once I did that, I couldn't open anything from the Works. I uninstalled it and re-installed the Works 7.0, and I am still unable to open any of the documents. Do you have any suggestions?

What is IT, the printer or the Works software?

Seems your problems started with the install of the new printer. Uninstall the printer and see if you get Works back.
