I encountered internal error 2755 while installing Office 2000 on my Win XP. Pse do not refer me to the microsoft support website as i've been there. Any guru out there who can assist? Thanks Appreciate if you could give me step by step instructions.

Try the following:
Right click 'My Computer', click 'Manage', double click 'Services and Applications', click 'Services'. Look down the list for "Windows Installer", right click and choose "start" then run the install.
