I have a user who is using Visio 2003. Everytime he lauches the app, it runs through an install process. If he closes Visio, and relaunches it, it again, goes through the install routine. I have created a dummy account on his machine, and did the same steps as I stated, the second time the application is launched, it does not install. This tells me there is something not right with his profile. I dont want to create a new profile for this user, anyone know what the problem could be to fix it the correct way instead of doing the workaround?

Just a guess here...
Could there be permission issues with the original account that is preventing Visio from permanently installing itself? Perhaps it is writing files to a temp folder that goes away when you close the app.
Either compare the permissions on the original profile to the dummy profile or compare the folders where Visio installs itself to see what files or folders are missing on the original user's account.

I'd run the Visio setup again as and Administrator; making sure that items are set to "Run All From My Computer."
