I'm getting a new computer. On this one I have Office 2003 Student and Teacher Edition. If I uninstall from this one and install it on my new computer, will it work, or will it tell me that the product key is already in use or something like that? I want to know whether I should get Office preinstalled on the new computer or take it off my old one. Thanks

Office 2003 now phones home for verification. At least the Corporate version does, I'm not sure about the home/student versions. It sounds like you going to be legal about this by removing it from the first machine but you may want to call Microsoft and ask what will happen.

Thanks. I read somewhere Student and teacher can be installed up to 3x, but I'm not too sure, so I emailed Microsoft. Hopefully they can give me some ideas.
