|Hello, We gave my mother a new Dell computer a year and a half ago. It turned out to be a bad decision, as she was in the early stages of dementia. She still uses her computer, but with increasing difficulty. It's important that we set it up for her to function as straightforward as possible--in other words, no "workarounds", error messages every time you open a program, etc. I would like to reinstall Word XP for her, as she was not able to learn Word 2007. From what I read, it appears that having both versions on her computer at once is a complicated option, and we need to avoid complications. Does a 2007 Windows OS support Word XP? Is the way to do that to just uninstall Word 2007 and then reinstall XP? Will that work, and, if so, anything I should know? |
I'm not at her home at this time, so I don't have the CPU/Ram.
