Insert pictures into access

How do I or can I insert pictures for individual entrys in Microsoft Access 97?

Basicly I want pictures to go along with each entry so I can visualy compare the entry description along with text description.

There is an example of how to do this in the Northwind example database which you should have on your MSOffice\Access\Samples folder. Have a look at the Employees table where the field title is 'Photo' then look at the Employees form.

Create your field where you want your photo to show. The field type should be OLE Object.

Then, when you open your table in dataset view, right-click on the field you want the photo in, and click Insert Object. Then just point to the path of the file. That's how I did mine, and it works fine. Just remember, if you move the photo to another location, it won't be visible in Access.
