Will someone explain how I can save a address book from outlook to cd or export from outlook to outlook express and then save address book as a wab so I can import it after a format. Its not a problem with outlook express but I cannot seem to locate how with outlook. Thanks.

First, the address book is a ".PAB" file.
Tools / Services / Personal Address Book / Properties allows you to tell Outlook where the file is stored.

The personal folders are kept in ".PST" file.
This file is typically stored in c:\documents and settings\\local settings\Applications Data\Microsoft\Outlook (that is if when installing outlook you use the default locations for the install).

Either can be copied or moved to where ever you want. Even a mapped network drive.

The Import/Export function in the File menu can facilitate moving them to other platforms such as Outlook experss and vise versa.

One thing you CAN'T DO is have Outlook AND Outlook express on the same machine at the same time with different settings. It's either/or but not both.

Using the import-export feature in outlook (not outlook express), How do you export the address book to outlook express?
