If/Then statement to flag late orders

January 24, 2011 at 14:27:14
Specs: Windows XP
I have a column "E" where the vendor promise date for delivery of a PO is listed. I have a column "O" where i need "Yes" or "No" to a question of whether or not the PO is late.

I cant seem to get the formula to run. Ideally (if possible) i would like to put that days date in a cell like H1, and have the formala read something if (and I know this isnt correct)

This way, I can create a new worksheet each day, and the information from the prior worksheet wouldnt change. makes it easier to keep charts. PLEASE HELP!

Try this:

=IF(E5>=TODAY(), "NO", YES")

As long as the date in E5 is Greater Than or Equal to the current date, the PO isn't late and the cell wiill show NO
