Solved If Statement with a third condition

May 31, 2013 at 16:50:20
Specs: Windows XP
I have a cell with an IF statement that functions as follows:
=IF(((((J9-H9)/30)+((G12/1920)*12))/J6)>=100%,"ACCEPTED (1)","REJECTED (1)")
I have also applied conditional formatting so that Accepted appears in Green and Rejected appears in red. What I need to know is how to make the cell show no text at all if the formula in the IF statement is equal to zero. Can anyone please help with this?

✔ Best Answer
Try this:

=IF(((((J9-H9)/30)+((G12/1920)*12))/J6)=0,"",IF(((((J9-H9)/30)+((G12/1920)*12))/J6)>=100%,"ACCEPTED (1)","REJECTED (1)"))

It seems like there are a few more parenthesis than required.

This formula appears to return the same results:

=IF(((J9-H9)/30+G12/1920*12)/J6=0,"",IF(((J9-H9)/30+G12/1920*12)/J6>=100%,"ACCEPTED (1)","REJECTED (1)"))
