Specs: Windows XP
I have 2 sets of data which I need to update on a regular basis. one set of data comes with out relationship managers (RM) names and the other has the relationship managers names. I need to take the latter and populate to the one without the RM detail as this is the most current list of data. The RM field is populated by me until a fix can be introduced to include this.

column A on each set of data is a supplier name
column B on the document I update is the RM name.
If a supplier can be found on bothe sets of data I want it to populate the field with the RM name from the document I update.
i think I want an if statement with a vlookup within but I am not sure hwo to do this.

help please?
