IF functions & Conditional formatting

Hi quick question.

I have a column of values that are conditionally formatted (green, yellow, red) depending on whether they are performing well or not. Some values are of more importance than others so I wanted to create a simple question at the bottom that asked whether or not the important values were on target (ie green).

Can I create an IF function that simply states YES/NO based upon the colour (conditional format) of the specific cells above? All the important cells would have to be green (or yellow) to show a YES, if one or more is red then it would register NO.

I don't have Excel 2007 on the machine I am currently sitting at, but it is my understanding that Excel 2007/2010 has a function for counting colors.

Earlier versions did not, but there are User Defined Functions (UDF) available via a Google search that will count colors in earlier versions.

All that said, I don't recall if a cell filled by Conditional Formatting are recognized as "filled" by either the UDFs or the 2007 functions.

I can play around this weekend at home where I have 2010 assuming you don't discover something on your own in the meantime. If you do find an answer, please post it here both to get the solution into the archives and (more importantly) save me the work. ;-)
