So we have several users who use Outlook 2003 and 2007. I want to add a signature on one of the 03 users that shows a logo and behind the logo is a hyperlink to a website. The URL is fairly long, maybe 280 characters total. I can insert the image but when I try to add a hyperlink to the image it will not add the entire link. It stops at 256 characters. It works correctly in Outlook 07 though. I have installed Office 2003, SP3 as well. No change. Any help is appreciated

Firstly, how are you creating the signature? Is this based on a template? Is the hyperlink a webpage? If so, are you hosting the page on your network?

I am creating the signature from the default blank signature in the Mail Format tab of Outlook. This URL is a PayPal link to a BuyNow item we offer. We do not have the site on our network. In the Signature we have our company verbage, then we insert an Image. The Image is a jpg file that gets inserted correctly. Once the image is on the signature, we can right click and add a Hyperlink to the image. When we paste the URL for the hyperlink into the box provided, it limits us to 256 characters. Hope this helps a little more

Do you mean an ebay item? If you just link to the item, the link should be similar to this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl... and that's only 88 characters.

Will that work?

Not sure if this makes a difference, but are you using Word as your email editor? I found this: http://www.tech-archive.net/Archive... Check the post from Jay Freeman.

I appreciate the help. However, what we want is the hyperlink to be embedded in the picture. That will make the email much more eye appealing. I am going to try and paste the code into the pic using the "reveal codes". I will see what happens. Any additional help or input is greatly appreciated
