I want to delete one data point in excel grap

Specs: Windows 7
I have a series of data points that I am trying to fit a line to. The problem is I have a large amount of outliers randomly scattered within the data that is also on the excel graph. All I want to do is to be able to delete single data points without the entire graph being deleted.

If you don't mind a gap in the line, you can set the line segment that connect 2 points to None, as well as the Marker for that data point and it won't be shown. However, you will have a gap between the previous and next points in your graph.

You could then add the line segment back in using the drawing tool.

The other option is to grab the outliers and drag them up or down until they are in line with the rest of the graph. This will also change the data in the cell from whence it came, so only you can decide if that is acceptable.
