Solved I want to copy some of my cell into a new cell

March 5, 2014 at 12:37:42
Specs: Windows 8
I have copied over some files from acrobat and it did not split the information up like I wanted. Instead it put all the information into one cell. I am wondering if I can somehow only get some of the information to copy out.

28-Feb-14 12:15:00 AM CST 60.8 °F

I want the temperature in a different cell
finished product would read 60.8

Excel has a Text-To-Column feature.

Assuming Excel 2007 or later, it's on the Data Ribbon. Select all of the data that you want to split, choose Text-To-Columns and choose Fixed Width, click Next, delete the Column Splits that you don't want and see how that works out.
