I want to copy figures to new sheet but only formula shows

February 16, 2012 at 03:36:24
Specs: Windows Vista
I am copying figures from one spreadsheet to another. The figures are in a cell which contains formula i.e. =C6;C79. I want to show only the figures (sums) on new sheet how do I do this? I used to know but have forgotten.

I don't know of any formula that looks like =C6;C79.

What is that suposed to do?

As for your question, try Copy...Paste Special...Values.

Sorry full formula is =SUM(D3:D35). and the total could be £3765.10 but when you copy and paste you get the above formula rather than the amount in figures. However, I have solved it by finding out that when I paste I need to paste 'value' rather than just paste. Thanks for reply.
