Reply: (edit)Your question makes no sense. If you have Outlook loaded on the machine (which you must since you say you can get "into" Outlook), then you don't need to reload anything. To re-open it after closing, just double-click the icon on the desktop, or go to Start Menu, Programs, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook. Life is more painless for those who are brainless.

Reply: (edit)I've seen Outlook hang before when closing down and if you try to re-open it, you can't. Two simple ways to fix this, either reboot or go into Task manager and if you see Outlook running, click on it and "end task". Then try to launch it again.

Reply: (edit)Or you can run Scanpst.exe to repair the file. You may have a pst to file that is too large. If you get it open, get rid of your Deleted and Sent Items and do manual compact to regain the space and shrink the pst to file down. Today seems like a good day to chew through the restraints.
