Good afternoon.

I have an Excel 2013 spreadsheet with a hyperlink to an e-mail that I have saved on our shared network. The e-mail is a draft done in Outlook 2013. The reason for it is so that the user can click the link and have an e-mail with all the information completed except for the e-mail address. The problem I am having is once that hyperlink is clicked and the e-mail is launched it causes an error if the hyperlink is clicked again shortly after the first time. Even if I close the e-mail and then try and launch it again by clicking the hyperlink I get .... "We can't open <hyperlink>. It's possible the file is already open, or you don't have permission to open it." Why is this happening? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks very much.

It's probably related to network traffic issues. You could create an outlook form using a template and store that on each user's computer.
