Hi friends,

I've seen Word documents having some other documents pasted in like e.g. Excel file or
any other type in form of an icon and when I clicked on the icon the relevant application (like Excel ox Acrobat Reader)opened.
I'm now trying to paste a file to a Word document but to my surprise it tries to convert it somwhow and it's nothing in common with this what I could see.

So how shall I proceed in order to reach the final result as decribed above?

Thanks a lof in advance for any support!

Zennon

Did you try:

1 - Insert...Object
2 - "Create from file" tab
3 - Check the "Display as Icon" box.

Oh, Thank you very much DerbyDad03!

Now that it really works!

I tried: Insert-->File... and that's why it couldn't work properly...

Thanks a lot again!
