Currently, I only had 4 choices in my conditional drop down list in my excel. I just want to add at least 2 items but unfortunately, I am having a hard time in changing the range of the choices. Can anyone help me? Thanks

What do you mean by you're "having a hard time changing the range"?

The steps are:

Select the cell with the drop down
Select the Data Ribbon
Select Data Validation
Modify the range (or list) in the Source field

Does that not work for you?

Hi DerbyDad.

Sorry for the late response.

I guess that I have misled you in my previous inquiry. The case is that I have selected the category for the cells in the name box (for the dependent drop down list). What I want to do was to add another entry but have a hard time in changing the range of the cells for the name box.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

re: "I have selected the category for the cells in the name box (for the dependent drop down list)"

I'm not sure what you mean by "selected the category".

Are you saying that you have Named Range that you are using for the drop down and you are having trouble changing the range of cells that the Named Range refers to?

if you are refering to a named range for you validation list you simply need to update the named range.

1) Select the forluma ribbon
2) Select Name Manager
3) Find your named range and edit to new length
