Please supply some more details.

Are you trying to determine a person's blended tax rate based on their annual salary?

Are you looking to determine a method to calculate withholding taxes for payroll purposes.

Something else?

Are you concerned with dependents, deductions (itemized vs standard), tax credits, etc?

The more details you provide the better we can help you.

In your OP, you added this:

If for Male total income exceed Rs.160000 to 300000 then tax will be 140000*10% if lower than 160000 then no tax and if more than 300000 to 500000 then tax will be 14000+200000*20% and in more than 500000 then 54000+morethan 5000000*30%

Let me take that apart and see if it makes sense.

If income is less than 160,000 then 0 tax.

If income is between 160,000 and 300,000 then tax is 140,000*10% = 14,000. Is that a flat tax?

If income is between 300,000 and 500,000 then tax is 14000+200000*20% = 54,000 Another flat tax?

If income is more than 500,000 then tax is 54,000 + more than 5,000,000*30%. I'm guessing you have an extra 0 in there.

Now, that's what you wrote, but I don't think that's what you meant.

I think you meant:

If income is less than 160,000 then 0 tax.

If income is between 160,000 and 300,000 then tax is 14,000 plus the amount greater than 160,000*10%.

If income is between 300,000 and 500,000 then tax is 14,000 plus the amount greater than 300,000*20%.

If income is more than 500,000 then tax is 54,000 plus the amount greater than 500,000*30%.

If that's right, then the formula to use is:

=IF(A1>500000,54000+(A1-500000)*.3,IF(A1>300000,14000+(A1-300000)*.2,IF(A1>160000,14000+(A1-160000)*.1,0)))
