How to display a portion of a cell in Excel

April 6, 2012 at 11:44:22
Specs: Windows XP
I need to enter 9 digits SSN font size 7 in a square cell with column width of 2, of course the cell is too small for the whole SSN to display so Excel displays only a # sign but when I mouse over the cell, the whole SSN is showing/flashing under it. I like that but I just want the last 2 digits of the SSN to be displayed in stead of the # sign. How would I do it? Thanks a lot.
