How to crop a small excel chart to Powerpoint

Specs: Windows 7
I am working with Office Automation (through Visual FoxPro but guidance doing same in VB would be helpful). I am creating a spreadsheet with 3 charts. I am then resizing the charts in Excel so that when they are exported to the PowerPoint slide, they fit on 1/3 of the sheet and are not distorted. I cannot find a way, however, to crop the Excel graph down to JUST the graph area, omitting the rest of the white space.. so that when the graph is exported to Powerpoint, it doesn't paste the entire graph + white sheet background. Any ideas?

Use the snipping tool available in All Programs/Accessories. Select the area you want and save it as a jpg to use in your presentation.
