How to change millions view in Exce

How can I change £15,479,563 in excel to show as £15.480? Any help would be great. Thanks very much

With £15,479,563 in A1: =A1/1000000 formatted to show 3 decimal places. Directly: =15479563/1000000 formatted as currency with 3 decimal places.

or go to format cells and use the custom format #"."###, remember the trailing comma! Also please note this may be different depending on your regional settings
