Solved How do I not show formula results when cells are blank?

Microsoft Office 2010 professional

Specs: Windows 64
We got this working earlier but when a cowroker closed the workbook, the fornula was lost and I can't figure it out again!

Simply put, column A has numbers in it, like grades, less than 100.

Column B will either say Pass or Fail.

If column A is empty, column B cannot say Fail

IF((A15>=75),"pass",IF(A15<75,"fail","")) ----that did not work

IF((A18>=75),"pass",IF(A18<>"","","fail")) --this also did not work

$#/?!!! What am I doing wrong? This seems like it should be so easy! It has to be a formula, no conditional formatting so.....HELP!!!

✔ Best Answer
Try this and see how it works:

=IF(ISBLANK(A15),"",IF(A15>=75,"Pass","Fail"))
