Solved how do i get rid of #N/A on a if(vlookup) formula?

September 22, 2016 at 05:38:42
Specs: Windows 7
I did this formula =IF(VLOOKUP(A2,$D$6:$E$7,2,0)="","",VLOOKUP(A2,$D$6:$E$7,2,0)) and it worked for the first cell and column then got #N/A for the rest on the second column with this formula =IF(VLOOKUP(A2,$D$6:$E$7,3,0)="","",VLOOKUP(A2,$D$6:$E$7,3,0)) . How do I fix that? I know that the cell is formatted correct because if I do a simple vlookup the date shows

You can wrap your formula with a IfError and then decide what you want to appear in the cell if an error occurs, in this case I have told it to display nothing

=IFERROR(IF(VLOOKUP(A2,$D$6:$E$7,2,0)="","",VLOOKUP(A2,$D$6:$E$7,2,0)),"")
