How do i close "Outlook on the Desktop"? All the forums say to click on the icon at the bottom right of the screen, but I don't have one...I have a shortcut to the program, I have it listed in my start menu, but all i can do is try to start it, I can't close it. Right click and there aren't any options that help me. I am trying to uninstall it, and I have to close the program first. I hate it!!!

Alt+Ctrl+Del will bring up Windows Security, Click on Task Manager,
Select Oulook on the Applications tab and then click on End Task.

March 15, 2010 at 06:37:55 when I did that, it did not even show up as a task, but I went into the processes and I was able to stop it like that!! Thanks for reminding me how important that task manager can be!! I was able to uninstall that program.
