This should work,
provided the cell is actually a date field
and not a TEXT field that looks like a date field.

Just format them without the period.

Highlight a DATE cell/column
Right Click
Select Format Cells
Select Custom

In the Type box enter mmddyyyy ddmmyyyy

Click OK

Hi,

If you want to change the date format, for eg:dd-mm-yyyy or dd/mm/yyyy to yyyymmdd vice versa just right click on that and select format cell in that select number and then select custom there under "type" give the format how do you want. for ef: yyyymmdd then press on OK. like this you can change the date format in which you want.

Note: You can change many date cells format at a time and follow the same procedure.

Thanks you!!
