I am using Excel. I have a date in Coloum B and in Column C I want to have another date that is 29 days after the date in Column B. =b1+29 does not work, it only adds to the year. I have the date with a custom format of 00\/00\/0000. Help!?

As far as I can tell, your Custom Format only stores your Date as a Number,
NOT a real DATE, so all your doing is adding 29 to your number:
Your custom format shows: 04/26/2013
but Excel sees 4262013
so adding 29 simply gets you 4262013 + 29 = 4262042

Why not just use the regular Date formats?
Would make doing Date Math a lot easier.

Changed the custom to an actual date and just adding to the date works great now. Thank you!
