Highlighting excel row/ column

OS: WinXP, Mac OS X
CPU/Ram: Amd 64 3400+, G4 1GHz

Just wondering if there is anyway I can colour the
highlighting of columns or rows i.e. when I select multiple
rows and columns in excel, the selection is so faded that
sometimes I can't really make out which ones I have
selected so if I can select some colour!!

Hi
Select Format > Cells > then The Font and Patterns Tabs.
Is this what you want.
