Outlook Express (6) downloaded 11 messages, but displayed only 5 of them. How can I access the content of the other 6 - it is actually indicating that there are 6 unread messages, but it does not show them.

2 thoughts come to mind:
1 - If the date stamp on the e-mails is not accurate, they may be further down in your Inbox than you might expect. I see that all the time with Mozilla Thunderbird, especially with spam.
2 - They have may have been automatically moved to sub-folder, such as Junk or Spam.

There is not much content in the inbox - I could not 'miss' them. Their presence is indicated with the familiar '(x)' for unread, but they are not listed !
There are also some emails now which KEEP their 'unread' status (in BOLD) even after being read
I dont have folders for Spam or Junk. I have a 'Deleted' - they are not in that.
